Welcome to Pacific Gold Leaf!
Gold leaf is gold that has been hammered into extremely thin sheets and is used for gilding, artwork, picture frames, statuary, as well as being used architecturally for ceilings, walls, and external structures such as spires and domes. It is also commonly used for signs and religious icons, and historically used for gilding, or illuminating, manuscripts.
Gold leaf can be applied to almost any material that has been treated with an adhesive, known as size.
